I’m Gian Marco Prazzoli
I have a strong C# background – in 2019 I got both MCSA and MCSD Microsoft certifications – and have been using Microsoft technologies for a range of solutions, mainly web oriented and cloud. I also have some years of experience working with Python and its Web frameworks (Django, flask…)
I have experience working in cloud environments (AWS and Microsoft Azure), developing serverless functions (AWS Lambda) in Python/.NET Core, and have skills using Docker in both Linux and Windows ecosystems to deploy applications. Last year, I developed 3 Amazon Alexa Skills which are currently available on the skill market.
I recently started acting as Scrum Master for the projects I currently follow, managing my team on a day-by-day basis to achieve our goals. Still, I devote a large portion of my time on development, promoting best practices and pursuing code clarity, maintainability, and reusability.
I have professional experience working in both Linux and Windows environments, while secretly using MacOSX at home for a large part of my projects: I enjoy reading and keeping up to date with the latest trends in the IT world, as well as hacking my RaspberryPi’s to improve my home automation projects.
My biggest passion is coding. That ‘s a fact.
But, my interests go way beyond that: when I’m not behind a monitor, I may be found studying Japanese (I somehow got a N5 JLPT degree), keeping my english skills in shape by reading a lot, travelling to new places, tinkering with my 3D printers, and cooking (just enough not to starve!).
